That spring has finally sprung.

Weather Madness!

In honor of the fantastic-ly warm weather that SE WI had today I was going to post a quick little video update but then laziness set in. I didn’t want to look for a pair of batteries that would last long enough. So you just get words. 54 warm wonderful degres out today. Snow was melting bird were chirping. There was a slight breeze and the sun was out. It was just fan-frickin’-tastic. Now it’s for sure that I’ve got to sit down with a pad of paper and seed catalogs. Rough out a plan for this years garden. What I have in mind is tomatoes, a raised bed of lettuces and carrots, rhubarb, raspberries, mints and herbs, peppers, cucumbers, potatoes, and if I can squeeze it in a small patch of corn.

Long time no write.

So not much to talk about since the snow-pocalypse.

But I’ve been looking at Shorpy and seeing all the pictures from the 1900-1950’s makes me wish that things were like they were back then. I want to live in the past. Yes I’m a nostalgic 21 year old who was just born in the wrong decade.

I survived.

Snow-pocalypse 08!

That was at about noon today. More snow has fallen since then. So far the number I’ve seen is 10″. But with the winds there are drifts and the one on my steps was about 20″ deep. I’ll take the snow over the tornadoes that swept through the south last night and early this morning.

Edit: The total for my city was 16 inches. Some got as few as 10″ but some got up to 20″ of snow.
